How Long Do Treatments Take?

The initial consultation with treatment takes 80mins and follow up treatments are usually 45mins.

What Will You Ask Me?
I will ask you about your current symptoms, your medical history, diet, digestive system, sleeping patterns and emotional state, and I will conduct a physical examination if appropriate for your condition. You will also have an opportunity to ask me any questions.

Does it Hurt?
The needles used in acupuncture, unlike those used in hospitals, are almost as fine as a hair, and most people feel completely calm and relaxed after their treatment. People often say the needle is like a dull ache or fizzy sensation and many people are surprised at how pain free the treatment is.

Will I Need to Remove My Clothes?
You may need to undress, keeping your underwear on, depending on which area of the body I will be treating. I will leave you to undress in private and give you towels to cover your body, respecting your privacy at all times.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?
The number of treatments will vary depending on the person and their condition, and you should experience some change after the first treatment. Acute musculoskeletal problems can often be solved in just one or two sessions.
